Privacy policy

The short version

We run a content site. We do not sell a messaging product, we do not have customer accounts, and we do not send you marketing texts. We collect analytics about how the site is used, and we keep whatever you choose to send us through the contact form.

What we collect automatically

We use PostHog for product analytics. It records page views, navigation, clicks on interactive elements such as the UTM builder, and technical details your browser sends — approximate location derived from IP, device type, browser, and referring page.

Analytics profiles are created for every visitor, including visitors who never contact us. If you would rather not be included, most browsers offer tracking protection, and blocking analytics scripts will not break anything on this site.

What you give us deliberately

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you type. We use it to answer you and to fix anything you tell us is wrong. We do not add contact-form addresses to a marketing list.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising pixels for third-party ad networks on this site, and we do not build profiles for the purpose of selling them.

Cookies and local storage

Analytics uses cookies or equivalent browser storage to recognise a returning visitor across pages. There are no advertising cookies. Clearing site data resets this at any time.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention period. Contact-form messages are kept as long as they are useful for answering you or maintaining a correction history, and deleted when they are not.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will action it — we are a small operation and there is no process to navigate.

Third parties

This site links to external providers such as Sendblue, Miss Blue, LoopMessage and BlueBubbles. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies and this one does not. We have no control over what they collect.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
