Review / Hosted API

Blooio logoBlooio review

Transparent flat-rate pricing, aimed squarely at AI agents.

Blooio is a newer entrant that competes primarily on pricing transparency — every plan is on the pricing page, there is no setup fee, and the trial does not ask for a card. Technically it sits between an agent runtime and the messaging channels, handling iMessage delivery with RCS and SMS fallback, plus a REST API with an OpenAPI spec and webhooks for delivery events.

What it is good at

  • Pricing is on the pricing page — rarer in this category than it should be.
  • OpenAPI specification means you can generate a client rather than hand-rolling one.
  • Flat rate with no per-message fee makes the monthly bill predictable.
  • Pre-warmed numbers reduce the cold-start deliverability problem.

Where it will bite you

  • Newer and smaller than the incumbents, with a shorter track record.
  • Group chats, tapbacks and attachments are not called out clearly — verify if you need them.
  • Much of its public content is competitor-comparison marketing; read it accordingly.

UTM note

Blooio exposes delivery events over webhooks. Log the utm_campaign alongside the delivery event so your attribution and your deliverability data live in the same table.

Whatever you send with, build the URL from one helper so tagging is consistent across every job and campaign. Open the UTM builder to generate one now.
