Crypton.sh Blue Relay review

The only EU-hosted iMessage line in the category — sold by a no-KYC privacy telco.

Blue Relay is the iMessage product of Crypton.sh, a privacy-focused telecom outfit that also sells virtual numbers, eSIMs and SIM rentals with, in its own words, no name, no email and no KYC. The iMessage lines are dedicated and hosted in Europe, which as far as this survey found makes Crypton the only vendor in the category with an answer to a data-residency question. API access is included in the plan rather than sold separately.

What it is good at

  • **Dedicated iMessage lines hosted in Europe — the only data-residency answer found anywhere in this category.** For a GDPR-sensitive buyer that is not a tiebreaker, it is the whole decision.
  • Flat-rate billing with API access included rather than charged as an add-on.
  • Photos, files and group chats are explicitly supported.
  • Card and cryptocurrency payment both accepted.
  • A published status page, which is more operational transparency than several larger vendors offer.

Where it will bite you

  • **The no-KYC, no-name, no-email positioning is a liability in a procurement review, not an asset.** A buyer who needs EU residency usually also needs an identifiable counterparty and a DPA; this vendor is built for the opposite customer.
  • The surrounding product line — anonymous SIMs, a Tor onion service — is unlikely to survive an enterprise vendor assessment regardless of how good the iMessage line is.
  • Priced in euros, so US buyers carry FX movement.
  • Feature detail is thin: webhooks, SMS fallback, tapbacks and read receipts are all unconfirmed.
  • No CRM integrations, so everything runs through the API.

UTM note

If EU data residency is why you chose this vendor, check where your analytics endpoint lives too — a UTM-tagged link that lands in a US analytics property moves the data you were trying to keep in Europe.

Whatever you send with, build the URL from one helper so tagging is consistent across every job and campaign. Open the UTM builder to generate one now.
