senderZ review
Prices the contacts you reach, not the messages you send.
senderZ routes iMessage first and falls back to SMS when the recipient cannot receive one, which is the same shape as several competitors. What is genuinely different is the meter: plans are tiered on how many unique new contacts you reach in a month, and messages to contacts you have already reached are unlimited. It runs on the vendor's own Apple hardware, so you supply nothing, and it ships a native MCP integration for AI agents.
What it is good at
- **A pricing axis nobody else uses.** If you message a small list many times, first-contact pricing is dramatically cheaper than per-message or per-line billing.
- Multi-tenant sub-accounts with isolated phone pools, which is the right shape for an agency.
- Native MCP integration, so an AI agent can send without a custom wrapper.
- Runs on the vendor's own Apple hardware — no Mac, no Apple ID of yours at risk.
- Built-in TCPA, CTIA, opt-out and quiet-hours handling.
- No 10DLC registration to wait on.
Where it will bite you
- **The pricing model inverts if you prospect broadly.** High new-contact volume with shallow follow-up is the worst case for this meter — model your actual list before committing.
- The $39 headline is annual billing; monthly will cost more.
- Feature documentation is thin publicly — webhooks, group chats, tapbacks and attachments are all unconfirmed.
- The sub-200ms fallback figure is the vendor's own claim, not an independently measured number.
What senderZ claims
Reported as the vendor's own marketing claims. We have not independently reproduced these numbers, and neither should you treat them as benchmarks.
- iMessage-first routing with SMS fallback typically under 200ms
- No 10DLC registration required
The shape of the API
Illustrative — parameter names and endpoints change. Treat this as the flavour of the integration, and copy the real thing from the official docs.
const res = await fetch("https://api.senderz.com/v1/send", { method: "POST", headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.SENDERZ_API_KEY}`, "Content-Type": "application/json", }, body: JSON.stringify({ to: "+15551234567", text: "Following up on your quote: https://acme.co/q/912?utm_source=imessage&utm_medium=sms&utm_campaign=quote_followup", }),}); // Billing counts this contact once. Every later message to them is included.if (!res.ok) throw new Error(`send failed: ${res.status}`);Tracking links with senderZ
UTM note
Because the meter counts first contacts, the useful analytics question is cost per conversation started rather than cost per message. Tag the opening message distinctly from follow-ups so you can compute it.
Whatever you send with, build the URL from one helper so tagging is consistent across every job and campaign. Open the UTM builder to generate one now.
