Texting Blue review
$19 a month to put one iPhone's number behind a shared team dashboard.
Texting Blue is the cheapest hosted entry point in the category, and the trade that buys the price is that you supply the iPhone. The number stays yours, the handset does the sending and receiving, and the vendor supplies a web dashboard that syncs the thread to a whole team in real time. Recipients see an ordinary iMessage from a number they may already know. It is operated by Interactive Marketing, s.r.o., which states plainly that it is not affiliated with Apple.
What it is good at
- **$19 per number per month is the lowest published price in the category**, less than half the previous floor.
- Unlimited team members on the entry plan, where most vendors bill per seat or per line.
- A REST API plus prebuilt Zapier, n8n and Make integrations — unusually complete for the price.
- Audit trails showing which team member sent which message.
- The dashboard is browser-based, so the team can be on Windows or Android even though the sending device is not.
- States clearly that it is not affiliated with Apple, which not every vendor here bothers to do.
Where it will bite you
- **You supply and operate an iPhone** with the number signed in. It is not a Mac, but it is still Apple hardware you keep online and patched.
- **100 messages a day on the entry plan** is a genuine ceiling — fine for a front desk, useless for outbound.
- It sends from your existing number, not a dedicated business line, so business and personal threads share an identity.
- No SMS or RCS fallback, so Android contacts are unreachable.
- Standard and Business tiers are still 'coming soon', so the published price list is one tier deep.
- Automating a consumer Apple Account carries the same terms-of-service exposure as any bridge, and the low price does not change that.

UTM note
With a shared number and several senders, the useful dimension is who sent it. If the dashboard exposes the sending user, mirror it into a UTM term so per-rep performance is visible in analytics.
Whatever you send with, build the URL from one helper so tagging is consistent across every job and campaign. Open the UTM builder to generate one now.
