    Unpublishedquoted per deployment

    • Phone number pools and reply routing

    • Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and Attio integrations

Catch There is no self-serve path and no published figure of any kind.

Costs that are not on the pricing page

  • Unknowable in advance — everything is quoted.
  • Agent-scale positioning suggests the smallest sensible deployment is larger than a local business needs.

Chert is the second vendor in this category, after Linq, to put its pricing entirely behind a sales conversation. That is a legitimate choice for infrastructure sold to engineering teams, and it is also a real cost to you: you cannot shortlist it without spending a call.

The primitives it advertises — number pools, reply routing, delivery tracking — are the things you actually need at agent scale, and no self-serve vendor here names them. If that is your problem, the call is probably worth booking. If you are comparing on price, it cannot be compared.

What to ask on the call

Get the per-line and per-message structure, the minimum commitment, what happens to pool numbers you stop using, and whether pricing changes with reply volume. Those four answers make Chert comparable with the published vendors; nothing on the website does.

Where these numbers come from

Chert publishes no pricing. The only call to action on the site is to book a call, so nothing here can be verified against a rate card.

Engineering teams deploying AI agents on iMessage at a scale that justifies a procurement conversation.
